hello,I find this strange but as I was looking for Data about my grandathers history in military service during WWII in the Philippines. I come accross the name General Wendell Fertig from the letter written by my grandfather to President Carter.
He was under the command of General Fertig a muslim guerilla. I searched The name Wendell Fertig and I saw the website regarding the General. I will attach to you the letter that was written by my Grandfather. He was a muslim under the Generals command.
My grandfather died not recognized by the Government he fought with.
